Applause For "Gone With The Wind"

Margaret Mitchell, the author of the great American classic, “Gone With The Wind”, won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature on May 3, 1937. Seventy nine years later, six little Cairns won the Col. Potter Prize for FREEDOM. Much like the story of “Gone With The Wind” and the hardships the characters endured during the Civil War, the final words of the movie ring so true "After all, tomorrow is another day". Another day is today and it is the start of a new life for these precious furkids. Introducing the “Gone With The Wind” Characters:

Bonnie Blue, female, wheaton with black ears, DOB 5/27/07

Miss Mellie, female, wheaton, DOB 2/3/05

O'Hara, female, red brindle, DOB 11/10/06

Miss Suellen, female, wheaton with tipped ears, DOB 4/5/05

Major Wilkes, male, wheaton, DOB 5/3/05 – FREEDOM! How’s that for a birthday present?

Captain Butler, male, cream with black ears, DOB 6/25/02

These furkids are being boarded and vetted this week, but will be ready to move to foster homes this coming weekend, just in time for Mother's Day. Would you like to have one of the Gone With The Wind Characters as a Mother's Day gift? Please consider fostering for Col. Potter - check out our Foster Facts!
