Kizzy Means ...

... FREE!

Although she is not a mill dog, she was born in a mill, sold to a pet shop, and purchased from there by her previous owner.

Kizzy was the name of Kunta Kinte’s daughter in the 70’s mini-series “Roots”. He named her that because of its African meaning: FREE

Kizzy is an owner surrender, who was headed for a kill-shelter before a very kind Cairn friend stepped in and took care of her for Col. Potter until we could get her transported and fostered.

She is truly a great little girl!
