Welcome Kanya!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Last week, Intakes was contacted by a family looking to place their Cairn with Col. Potter. This poor girl was living outside in TN, in a dog house. She had spent her entire life out there, FIVE long years. All was fine (according to the owner) up until a few weeks ago when her companion, a lab, died suddenly. Now she was lonely. The children living in the home were allergic to her, so they couldn't bring her into the house.

Knowing the temperature was going to be dropping drastically, and she would be cold and alone, we got to work to get her inside the WARM loving arms of Col. Potter. Enter Susan B! Contacted on Sunday, Susan was able to meet with the owners to pick Kanya up on Monday night.
Tuesday morning, Kanya went in for her spay and dental, and is now B&Bing with Susan, inside where she is warm!!!

Kanya will be heading to her foster home this weekend, and looking for that perfect forever.
Thanks to Susan for acting so quickly to get Kanya. Thanks to everyone who makes the possibility of CP acting quickly a reality!

Welcome Kanya!
