Welcome Cuddles!!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Once upon a time there was a little wheaten cairn named Cuddles. At just 18 months old, Cuddles found herself at a shelter in the mid west. A kind-hearted woman saw Cuddles at the shelter and thought that this little bundle of energy would be a perfect companion for her daughter. Cuddles took to the daughter, and the daughter loved Cuddles very much.

To everyone's surprise, Cuddles was house and leash trained and loved her toys. Cuddles even loved the farm animals; about the only thing Cuddles didn't like was the barn cats! They had Cuddles vetted and spayed. As winter turned into spring, mom lost her job and dad's job was cut back. There were cut backs to be made, and as Cuddles was the last on the farm to join the family, she was the likely one to go. Reluctantly mom got in touch with Col. Potter, who agreed to take in Cuddles.

I'd like for everyone to give Cuddles a warm Col. Potter welcome; she is going to a loving home in South Carolina to be fostered.
