ABBY IS HOME, ALIVE AND WELL!!

Abby/Cokie is safe at home in her mama's arms!! Just wanted to let you all know our prayers have been answered! And the first thing Cheryl did was to get that harness back on Abby!! It was just a little awhile ago. Abby had gone down a farm road and a gentleman with his two dogs followed for about 20 minutes when Abby just stopped, laid down, and rolled over!! Can you believe it?!? Cheryl was close by but couldn't keep up so the man kept going!! AWESOME!! AWESOME!!AWESOME!!

I can't tell you how excited we are! Hubby & I are headed down to retrieve the lost dog posters!! I can't believe it! The first night we spotted her, we had been traipsing through a field, then through the woods, then I was in swamp water. My husband spotted 2 eyes from the road and off we went. That was pretty fruitless and who knows what we were chasing. My husband no sooner said, "you know, it's a one in a million chance that we'll see her" and around the corner on the road, there was that little fur butt trotting along!! Three times she was seen that night. Another driver passing by stopped to help (and mind you, it was between 9:30 & 11pm) Cheryl, the owner was there and we were there but Abby wasn't coming to ANYONE! She was spotted again the next morning (Wednesday) and we put the trap near that spot. Tonight, she was actually in the direction that was closer to her home!!
