CP's newest intake--Stooshie!

Written by a CP Intakes volunteer

Found on the streets in a rural area on the east coast, a matted and dirty terrier was deemed unadoptable due to his “poor condition”. CP was contacted to take him, and less than 24 hours later, this little man made his was to the vet’s office. His poor condition turned out to be a nothing more than a course antibiotics and a good bath to cure him of his “unadoptability”.

Stooshie is an old Scottish name meaning “A little bit of trouble”. Thankfully, this little man is not living up to his name. Stooshie has stole the hearts of every person in the vet office. Reportedly, he’s the perfect house guest, loving, friendly, funny, full of personality. He’s brought nothing but joy to their office.

Everyone please give a big CP welcome to our newest intake, Stooshie.

  1. I wanted to give you an update on Stooshie. We adopted CP kid Stooshie in September 2010 and he is an absolute joy. He is full of joy and personality. He loves to go on walks, is perfectly house-trained and loves to play with his toys. Stooshie was a wonderful companion to our 14 year-old cairn boy, Ricky, who went to the rainbow bridge on 8/30/12. I can provide a new photo of Stooshie, if you would like. Thanks, Linda Maggioncalda
