Barton Tips the Hat to Col. Potter!

Contributed by CP's VP of Intakes

Barton, a handsome 6 year old Light Wheaten Male

Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network -- the name is synonymous throughout the rescue world with integrity, caring, and compassion, and is generally known as being one of the very best Rescue groups.  Every once in awhile, it is especially gratifying to get validation from sources that we don't generally work with very much.   Most show breeders are able to, and prefer to, find homes for their Cairns themselves, where they can do the screening of the prospective home and insure they can choose just the right home for their much loved Cairn when they retire them.  It's when one of them come to Col. Potter seeking our assistance in finding a home for one of their Cairns that it hits you just how respected this organization truly is.

Barton has spent his life with just such a breeder.  He has been loved and cared for, but it is now time for him to have his very own family and so they turned to Col. Potter to help make this possible for this 6 year old boy.  Many thanks to Kate S. for her assistance in transporting Barton, and also for honoring her dear friends by giving Barton his name.

Please help us welcome Barton to the CP family!  It's only because of the efforts of this great CP family that helping Cairns like Barton is possible!
