Baby Girl Star will Shine at Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

Baby Girl Star, a beautiful 12 pound, 2 year old Wheaten Female

How many of you have seen the movie "A Star is Born"?  There was the 1954 version where Judy Garland made her return to movies or, as some liked to say, for Judy it was "A Star is Reborn".  Then there was the 1976 version starring Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson in the story of a declining rock star and an up and coming songstress who fall in love.   One of the songs in the 1976 movie says "I'm gonna take you girl, I'm gonna show you how."

As we begin 2014, a beautiful, 2 year old female Cairn got the starring role in Col. Potter's version of "A Star is Reborn".  Her home life had become unstable for her, and it was decided it was in her best interest for her to find a new home where she would get all the love and attention that an up and coming star would crave - and her new home would be her stage.

Best of all, she has a very special canine Guardian Angel who will surely be taking her under her wing and showing her how.  Please help us welcome Baby Girl Star who is named from our Name a Rescue Cairn Program with a donation from our own Sharon J. in memory of her Baby Girl, Star, who left her to join her Daddy at the Rainbow Bridge just a short time ago.  With the help of CP and her guardian angel guiding her from above, I just know Baby Girl Star will be a huge fan favorite and a big celebrity here on the CP label.

Please join us now in a standing ovation to welcome Baby Girl Star!
