McAdoo Makes the Team at Col. Potter!

Written by a CP Intakes Coordinator

McAdoo, an energetic 17 month old Wheaten Male

Please give a hearty Col. Potter welcome to McAdoo, a very energetic 17-month-old Wheaten guy.  McAdoo, not to be confused with James, is a little dude, weighing in at only 10 pounds, but he’s a fast cut and pass little player, outpacing everyone in his zone!

McAdoo, like so many misunderstood little terriers, had a rough beginning because his family didn’t understand the amount of physical activity that a young dog needs, and consequently, he spent far too much time in his crate as a puppy. Lucky for him, in a way, his people decided he was too much trouble, even with all that crating, and they surrendered him to their local shelter.

While McAdoo waited there with his fate unknown, the ever-vigilant searchers on Col. Potter’s rescue team located the little guy in the shelter, and they dispatched a Rescue Volunteer to go pick him up straight away!

McAdoo is a trim 10 pounds and he loves to cuddle!

So, now we are happy to report, McAdoo is safe here with Col. Potter, and after a little bit of Spring training, he’ll be ready for his new Forever Home.  Let’s all Welcome this little tar heel to his new team here at Col. Potter U!

Who is James McAdoo, you ask?  Well, it’s March!
